his newly renovated luxurious, yet comfortable lodge is in the charming town of Rye on Greenhorn Mountain in Southwestern Colorado. We are approximately 2 ½ hours from Denver, 1 ½ hours from Colorado Springs and just 30 minutes from Pueblo. This special getaway is done in the Craftsman design on the exterior with cedar shingles and slate siding and custom Craftsman lighting throughout. There are windows on most outside walls to appreciate the breathtaking views of the mountains and trees. The interior is done in a Mission style with natural stone finishes throughout. There is a wood stove for cold winter evenings and a private patio with barbeque, dining and sitting area for those warm summer nights.
It is a great place for a family/wedding reunion, a corporate/church retreat or a romantic hideaway. There is a nearby ranch for cattle drives or horseback riding, lakes for fishing or boating and a championship golf course for an afternoon on the greens.
e will also be organizing some horsemanship clinics this summer and a fall trail ride to view the incredible Aspen trees on Greenhorn Mountain. We are minutes to Bartlett Trailhead. Our barn has two stalls and a large private paddock. We feed grass hay and use wood shavings for bedding. We are located on Bartlett Trail minutes to the trailhead. We do have access to a large local outdoor arena as a member of the Rye Riding Club.
ome of the local attractions are hiking the many trailheads, visiting the famous Bishop's Castle, fishing at two nearby lakes or enjoying a show at the Rye Playhouse, just to name a few.
