Our Rustic Finnish Sauna is finished! This traditional Finnish sauna is built in part of recycled materials. The interior has cedar benches and trim, white pine planking, and natural stone backing a wood/coal fired camp stove that keeps the sauna nice and hot at 140 degrees. A small adjoining changing room with a bench and hangers is provided as well.
Relax while enjoying the view of Greenhorn Mountain. Split pine and oak gets the temperature up, then follow with a few pieces of nut coal to get it really warm. Spray some water onto the stones and the soreness and cold leave your body in a most pleasant way.
